The Nest on Bainbridge Island

Situated on a short, quiet lane on the west side of Bainbridge Island, The Nest provides a tranquil respite of calm away from city, traffic and noise. The only break in the quiet might be an eagle, chirping birds or a boat going by on the water below. Our guest house is just a short stroll past 2 neighoring driveways to the beach access where one can explore sea life and just enjoy the beach. We are a 1 mile, easy walk to Battlepoint park where there are trails and tennis courts. We aren't far (3 miles) from Meadowmeer golf course and approx. 5 miles to Winslow, the islands' city center where there are amazing restaurants and galleries and shops to investigate. We are 1 mile from the famed Bainbridge Gardens nursery where there is a wonderful New Rose Cafe located in the gardens for lunch or a latte and cookie. The Nest is completely self contained and completely private. We have provided a sitting area outside The Nest that includes a bistro table and chairs where our guests can sit and enjoy the view while sipping local wine or eat a meal.  We have guests say that they could just stay in "The Nest" and be happy without going anywhere else. "It is beyond their expectations", is a phrase we hear all of the time.
There is a very comfortable queen bed and a large sofa that could accomodate a third person. Our linens are high thread count 100% cotton and we provide a continental breakfast of coffee (regular and decaf), teas, milk, sweetener and a breakfast bread/pastry for your first morning. If you would like any additional food or wine, we are happy to accomodate for an added fee.
